2. There is the selection process for choosing crews for each event, which will be carried out by the Coach and the Captain.

3. In order to assess each member, you must be prepared to move to a position in the boat where the Captain, Coach or Coxswain asks you to, without protest. Most people will find that they have a ‘preferred’ position but in order to work as a Team to produce the best crews, we must all be versatile.

4. All members will be assessed by the Coach and the Captain to establish ability and best position in the boat.

5. Crews will be formed on the basis of ability and suitability to crew at events.

6. For each crew, 6 rowers and a coxswain will be chosen.

7. Once selected to crew an event, you will be notified by the Captain and asked either to accept or decline the offer.

8. Once a crew has been established for an event, they will be expected to attend both club nights and extra training sessions to be arranged by the Coach and Captain.

9. All decisions will be made without prejudice or bias and based purely on ability and suitability for each event.

The decision will be final and non-negotiable.

10. All members are welcome to ALL events as spectators to support the Club
