Our Club
We row traditional Cornish pilot gigs and it is our goal is to provide the local community, from eleven upwards, with an opportunity to take part in our sport. Our club has over 60 active adult rowers and 25 junior members together with associate members who provide vital support and encouragement. The club has race crews who attend regattas throughout the South West of England as well as the World Pilot Gig Championships in the Isles of Silly. The club is also a proud participant in many local community events.
Founded in 2003, our supporters have worked hard to raise vital funds and attract compatible sponsors from within the local business community. Setting up a new rowing club is a challenge not to be undertaken lightly and we thank those who guided and assisted us in difficult times.
For the future we plan to offer even more opportunities
for our members to participate in this exciting sport.

gig racing return to the area of the “Two Rivers”
We should take care not to loose it again as once lost, traditions are not easily resurrected
