| The quality of craftsmanship
that goes into the construction of our wooden gigs and oars comes at a cost
in terms of time and money. A new gig can take months to build and cost
almost £20,000 while a set of oars are nearly £2,000.
There is also the cost of trailers, lifejackets, thole pins, vhf radios
and assorted paraphernalia. To this must be added yearly maintenance that
must be carried out to ensure the gigs will be an asset that can be enjoyed
by generations to come.
The club is therefore proud to have received support and sponsorship from a number or individuals, companies and agencies who are listed below. We offer you our thanks |
